Meeting up with our new friend, Karin and her 2 sons for a playdate Friday. We’re all going to Chuck E Cheese.

Had a great playgroup at Anna’s house today. I forgot my camera unfortunately. It was an outdoor get together. Anna’s backyard was full of fun water toys. Avery did the slip n slide for the first time ever today. Taylor loved throwing things in the baby pool and playing with the water table. Fun day!

Avery is in time out for hitting Taylor. Taylor decided to come and hang out with Avery. Taylor can forgive and forget so easily…wish I was able to do that!

Avery is really enjoying her gymnastics class. Today, she was in a harness flying high in the air. Similar to the rides you see at fairs where you jump up and down. In gymnastics, her teacher was holding the rope making Avery go up really high. She loved it! I scheduled 2 make up classes for her. So she’ll go twice this week and next week to make up for the 2 classes she missed.

Babysitting a lot this week. Avery and Taylor love having John and Katarina over.

Tonight we had the VBS program. We sang 10 songs that we have learned so far this week to all the parents. It was asking a lot for 50 preschoolers to sit still for an hour (plus the other 100 elementary age kids), but we got through it. Avery has really enjoyed VBS so far. Tomorrow is the last day.

Today was day 1 of volunteering at Avery’s preschool for Vacation Bible School. We decorated each of the 5 preschool classroom doors. I’ll be back there tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll get more details about what I’ll be doing next week.

Taylor has 2 molars coming in. She isn’t even being fussy - big girl!

Looks like I will be doing a lot more babysitting this week. Avery and Taylor are going to love it!
